“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
So, let’s do something small today. Bring Jesus to someone, no matter their faith, religion, or “belief system” by what you do, by what you say.
1) Smile at a stranger.
2) Open a door for someone.
3) Volunteer to help.
4) Take an elderly person a special treat.
5) Offer to drive someone who doesn’t have a car.
6) Visit a nursing home.
7) Call a friend.
8) Say a prayer
9) Refuse to argue.
10) Take out your neighbor’s trash for them
You don’t have to say “It’s for Jesus I do this.” Just do what you do quietly to ease the burden for someone else. Do what you do for love.
“He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22: 37-39
So, don’t worry about doing something great. Appreciate the fact that you can do something.
Do something small today and make the world a better place.
