When Seeking the Truth…

There are those who seek to cause strife in the Church. There are news sources out there who report rumor, innuendo, and outright lies.
The reporting on the Synod is no exception. For accurate, Catholic news reporting check out EWTN. There you will find honest and accurate reporting.

I’ve seen some posts who use other sources for their “news.” After reading the headline and the articles, I have found that the headline and the story do not match. The stories are inflamatory and scewed
so that the Church appears to have fallen into the grips of the unholy who seek to destroy the Church.

There are those who say that we must speak up about abuses in the Church. I would agree, but when the abuses are not happening or are being reported inaccurately, then I would urge caution in what you believe.

Again, I repeat, seek true and accurate sources of reporting that do not seek to inflame or disrupt. Remember, disruption of the Church is not from God. He will not allow His Church to corrode. He has said, “I will be with you until the end of time.” Lies are not from Him. God does not lie. The truths of the Church do not change.

As St. Teresa of Avila said,
“Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.”

God alone suffices.
Pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance. Do not believe the words of the disrupters.
God alone suffices.
