I Carry You In My Heart

When we pray for those whom we love, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for those whom we do not love, but forgive, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for our priests and those in the consecrated religious life, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for Pope Francis, we carry him in our hearts.
When we pray for our sisters and brothers in Christ, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for the sick and the dying, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for persecuted Christians, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for families, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for our families and friends, we carry them in our hearts.
When we pray for those who are suffering, we carry them in our hearts.

If we can carry all of these people in our hearts, imagine how many people the Sacred Heart of Jesus can carry in His Heart. Imagine the pain when we are irreverent, when we are indifferent, when we are sinful. Yet, He carries us in His Heart, and He loves us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we love You. We adore You. We worship You.
Forgive us.

Jesus, Meek and Humble of Heart, make my heart like Yours.
